Use of Practice Facilities

Lockdown Rules May 2020

In accordance with the ECB’s guidelines on return to activity, the net facilities at Tiddington CC will be available from Sunday 17th May, subject to the following conditions:

  • All usage must be booked, by a member, in advance using our online booking system
  • All users must either be paid members of Tiddington CC or guests thereof
  • Users can practice with members of your own household, or one other person
  • Users take full responsibility for ensuring facilities remain clean after use
  • Social distancing must be maintained at all times
  • One-to-one coaching is permitted subject to the above conditions being met
  • The main gate will remain closed and locked at all times
  • The clubhouse, toilets and changing facilities will also remain closed
  • Under 18s will need an adult to remain in attendance during the session.

The net practice facilities will be available as follows

  • Between 10:00am and 8:00pm throughout the week and weekend
  • Booking slots are one hour long and users are limited to two hours per day
  • Users are allowed to book two consecutive hours
  • We reserve the right to close the facility for necessary maintenance
  • Please see separate document for full details of the booking process

We recommend that:

  • Users do not touch the gates or the nets during practice
  • Users wash their hands at home before and after using the net facilities
  • Users finish practice in good time to allow cleaning and change-over time

We hope that we can make additional practice facilities available in due course.

All usage must be recorded on the online booking system: http://tcc.bookedscheduler.com/

  • Register for an account, or sign-in using Google or Facebook
  • If you use Google or Facebook, click “My Account” to set timezone as Europe/London

To check availability of facilities, find and book a practice time:

  • Choose “Schedule” and “Resource Calendar” to view availability by day, week or month
  • From “Resource Calendar”, click “Create Reservation”
  • You can also click “Reserve” from the Dashboard
  • The system will confirm booking immediately if the slot is available
  • You will see an error message if your request is not available to book

Information required on a reservation:

  • You must list all the users of the facility to allow contact tracing if necessary

The following guidance has been issued by the ECB for return to activity:

  • Do not attend if you or anyone in your household displays symptom
  • Do not attend if your household is currently in isolation
  • Personal hygiene measures should be carried out at home before and after use
  • Bring your own hand sanitiser where possible
  • If this isn’t possible wash your hands with soap and water before and after practice
  • Travel together as a household and avoid public transport
  • Try not to arrive too early; arrive at the start of your slot to help with social distancing
  • Bring your own playing and training equipment, including balls
  • Bring your own filled drinking bottles
  • Avoid touching as much as possible whilst on club premises
  • Use cleaning stations whenever available
  • Do not overstay your allocated time slot
  • You should be clear of the area by the time the next users arrive
  • Do not stay to socialise
  • Do not leave private property behind
  • No spitting
  • No saliva or sweat should come into contact with the ball at any time
  • If bowling machines are used, please ensure they are cleaned thoroughly between uses with dry-cleaning products and that all balls used are cleaned with disinfectant

Report any infection of their household following use of the facility in order to allow effective contact tracing and to limit the spread of the virus
