Don Brooks

It is with great sadness that we have to let you all know that Don Brooks passed away peacefully on Sunday morning.

Since moving to the village with his new wife Sue, in the late 60’s, Don soon found the cricket club and the local pub.

His first game was in 1970 and he soon became an integral part of the club, as a player, captain, umpire and lastly the prestigious post of our Club President.

His knowledge of cricket, his wit and humour will be sorely missed by the many that knew him during his years at Tiddington and throughout Oxfordshire, always a passionate supporter of all things cricket.

Our thoughts are with Sue, Nathan, Jack, Nicole and family.
