TCC Results Round Up – 17th May 2022

Wednesday 11th May
Aunt Sally – correction from last week the Cup game was won by Tiddington and we have a home tie to Shakespeare B in the next round on the 25th May.
Tiddington won their match at the Bell Bicester 3-2, one leg went to 3 sticks and we were caught short on that one but a good win.
Next is a home game against the Crown Charlton-on-Otmoor on the 18th.

A very close friendly game, Tiddington losing by 2 runs.

Saturday 14th May
Cropredy 1st vs Tiddington 1st
Tiddington 248-9 (50 overs), Twyford 245 all out (45.4 overs)
Tiddington win by 3 Runs
Tiddington set 248 after recovering from 74-6 with an impressive stand of 125 from Matt Maule 73* and Jordon Davis 56.
Cropredy were up with the chase until the spinners bowled them out for 245, Nick Pykett 4-40, Ben Smith 3-50.

Tiddington 2nd vs Chearsley 1st
Chearsley 111 all out (28.1 overs), Tiddington 114 for 5 (28.5 overs)
Tiddington Win by 5 Wickets
Chearsley were all out for 111 in 28.1 overs, Elliott Dales with 6-29 off 7 overs and Elliott making the team of the week in the Cherwell League.
Tiddington knocked off the runs for the loss of 5 wickets, Brad Rose 32*

Bletchley Town 2nds vs Tiddington 3rd
Tiddington 133 all out (30.3 overs), Bletchley Town 136-6 (30 overs)
Tiddington lose by 4 wickets
The 3rds had the long trip to Bletchley batting first, scoring 133 all out, Tom Allen 36. In reply Bletchley reached the target in 30 overs, losing 6 wickets.

Tiddington 4th vs Long Marston 3rds
Long Marston 208 for 5 (40 overs), Tiddington 210 for 7 (38.1 overs)
Tiddington win 3 wickets.
Tiddington 4ths at Haseley hosted Long Marston, who reached 208-5, Tiddington replied with a great knock of 93 from Jonny Atkins supported by Will Peers 32 and Neil Pickup 36* to reach the target with overs to spare.
